The history of world cup is amazing and full of adventure. First world cup was played in England, at that time they played one-day matches of 60 overs per side. In after that is cricket world cup was held in India and Pakistan. After that number of over per side also reduce from 60 to 50 over per side.

Till now Australia is won world cup 4 times. India and West Indies won world cup 2 times. Sri Lanka and Pakistan won cricket world cup 1 time.

First cricket world cup played in 1975 hosted by England. First cricket world cup was won by West Indies at that time runner-up was Australia,  and at that time West Indies won the match by 17 runs.

2nd cricket world cup

2nd cricket world cup played in 1979 hosted by England. The 2nd cricket world cup winner was again West Indies but time runner-up was England. This time West Indies won the world cup by 92 runs.

3rd cricket world cup

3rd cricket world cup played in 1983 hosted by England. The winner of 3rd cricket world cup was India and this time runner-up was West Indies. This time India won the world cup by 43 runs.

4th cricket world cup

4th cricket world cup played in 1987 hosted in India and Pakistan. It was the first time cricket world cup tournament was held outside of England. 4th cricket world cup winner was India and this time runner-up was West Indies. This time India won the world cup by 7 runs.

5th cricket world cup played in 1992 was held in Australia and New Zealand. 5th cricket world cup winner was Pakistan and runner-up at that time was England. Pakistan won the final match by 22 runs.

6th cricket world cup played in 1996 was played in India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. At this time world cup won by Sri Lanka and runner-up was Australia. Sri Lanka won 1996 cricket world cup by 7 wickets.

7th cricket world cup

7th cricket world cup played in  1999 It was hosted primarily by England, with some games being played in Scotland, Ireland, Wales and the Netherlands. 7th cricket world cup winner was Australia. Runner-up at that time was Pakistan and Australia won by 7 wickets.

8th cricket world cup played in 2002 was hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Kenya. Winner of  2002 cricket world cup was again Australia. This time runner-up was India. Australia won 2002 match by 125 runs.

9th cricket world cup matches were played in 2007 hosted by West Indies. Cricket world cup 2007 winner was Australia. Australia becomes first team that won cricket world cup three consecutive times. Runner-up was Sri Lanka and Australia won the match by 53 runs.

10th ICC world cup was played in 2011 Co-hosted by India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Winner of 2011 cricket world cup was India. Runner-up was Sri Lanka and India won by 6 wickets.

11th cricket world cup

11th cricket world cup was played in 2015 co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.  Winner at this time was again Australia. Runner-up was New Zealand. This time Australia wins the match by 7 wickets.

12th Cricket World Cup 2019

12th cricket world cup is going to held in England & Walles. Cricket world cup teams 2018 that are going to participate are 10.
